The Buck Inn Fly Fishing Club is a well established fly fishing club with a very friendly bunch of dedicated fly fishers.
The Club's origins date back to 1960s when a group of like minded fly fishers founded the club, based at The Buck Inn, Thornton Watlass, North Yorkshire.
We have access to just under two miles of the river Ure downstream from Kilgram Bridge in beautiful Wenslydale, North Yorkshire. With very good access and a variety of pools, riffles and glides, there is plenty of interesting fishing to be had.
The river Ure holds Brown Trout, Grayling and the occasional Salmon and Sea Trout; plus hefty Chubb which give great sport on fly gear!
